We
slept well with the family in
Lat Krabang.
The morning runs very quietly, a little cleanup and especially following the news, that's
about it.
During the day Pia speaks with a few acquaintances from the Netherlands, Tum and Lat, who
are now also in Thailand.
Due to the whole situation as a result of the Covid-19 virus, nothing is open in Thailand,
traveling through Thailand also seems to be getting more difficult, there are checkpoints
here and there.
After both conversations we decide that we really don't want to stay in Thailand anymore;
the situation in the Netherlands may not be great either, but we have more confidence in
Dutch health care than in Thai.
We also don't like the idea that we have to stay in Lat Krabang for at least another month
because traveling through Thailand will be very difficult, if not impossible.
We haven't heard from our travel agency, Nethai, for two days
and we decide to try to contact them.
We understand that the travel agency is undoubtedly also busy, but we want to know where we
stand.
Tom looks at the Eva Air website, and there are no
more seats available on flights to Amsterdam
On the KLM site there are still flights from 1 April for
about 700 Euro per person; that would cost us 1400 Euro.
Pia tries to get in touch with Nethai through Dutch acquaintances, but she has no suuces.
There is contact with Eva Air in the Netherlands, who only has two business class seats
available for approx. 1015 Euro per person; Eva Air is also almost unable to get in touch
with Nethai.
It is now 12 o'clock at night, tomorrow we decide what we will do.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
